The Rock of Salvation

         Today is a favourable time. The time to build. The time to worship God by helping the neighbour who has happened to be in a serious trouble, in the dependence from drugs and alcohol. It is time to share with the needy what we have received from God, to share spiritual as well as material things, something that we pay by silver and something that was given us as a gift. 

          Do we owe to God? It is written: "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another". And also written: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

          God grant that we may never say: Lord, when did we really see You sleeping in the desolate house near the beach, or collecting alms near the crossroad? When you were ever seek with hipatitus or aids, Holy God? Today is the time to love. To love the neighbour while he is living and while we are living, untill all of us together stand before the Creator. We owe, we owe our neighbours if we do not share with them the gift of His love that was directly received from Him. And we shall never be able to return completely that debt.

          We have to provide the shelter for a homeless person and the food to a hungry one, but that`s not enough. Such activities are done by the secular organizations and ordinary people. But satisfied and clever drug addicts succeed to remain drug addicts anyway after taking good rest and waiting till the cold is over. Ungrateful vagabonds are returning to the streets again.

          We have to provide them with the shelter where they could be harboured by coming out from their usual environment. We have to protect them from the temptations, but that`s not enough. Even the closed educational institution or a prison will not help them in hiding from themselves. Even behind the walls is impossible to hide a person from someone who is inside him.

          We have to help them in learning and working in a normal human society, in changing of a thinking, in revising the approach to a life, but that`s not enough.

          Phycologists are engaged in such things, but the patients quite quickly understand what is required from them and perfect themselves in the lie. They share this expirience with one another, and someone is studying special literature on how to imitate socially accepted behaviour and a progressive thinking while continuing to conduct the former lifestyle. In order to survive a slave needs to have the thinking of a slave, but the freedom can be given by God only. These people need the support of social services in the resolution of numerous knotty problems, but that`s not enough.

          The money received from Israeli Social Security (Bituah Leumi) usually squander on drink or drugs in the very first three days. Many sufferers have passed through all existing rehabilitation programs that were financially supported by the state. They went through prisons and mental clinics, but remained whom they were, drug addicts and alcoholics.

          These people lost the faith, the faith in people and the medicine, in psychologist and social workers, the faith in themselves, the faith in the Life. Many among them simply wait for the death which would come tomorrow or a year later ...

             What remains for them? Certainly, God! ( Matthew 18:11,14 )

          Only God! One God! The last channel and very final hope.( John 3:14-15 , John 6:40)

          He would not deceive nor forsake nor bring to a trouble. He is not a human being ! ( Mark 10:45 )

          He loves them here and now while they are in sin, in a hole, in the mud. ( Luke 15:10, 32 )

          What we can swagger about? By God only. ( John 1:14 )

          By what we differ from the others? By having our God. ( John 3:36 )

          By what we can attract a human? By God`s unconditional love. ( John 3:34-35,14:23 )

          By what we can help sufferers? By introducing them with our God. ( John 10:1-17,11:25-26 )

          There is noone greater and better than Him, nor on the earth nor in heaven. ( John 6:47 )

          Everything else is of a second importance, but at the same time is necessary for the realization of the first: the place is required where people needy in assistance and continual care may live for an extended period of time. They need to live in good conditions worthy of home dedicated to God.

          But if the provision of physical needs will stand on a first place, and the Lord will step back to the second plan, then we shall come to a blind alley. This would be a wasted labour and an idle waste of your and our funds. ( John 6:27-35 )

          ( And a vagrant who more dead than alive, blue from drunkenness or turned yellow from hepatitus will say: - Oh, I know these centers ... I was there ... )

          The system would not work till we openly say that only God saves, heals, delivers from drug addiction. This happens only upon the sincere request of one who has the need in it. And we just creating the conditions for His work. In the best case our "The Rock of Salvation" will be for them just another transient refuge from the storms of life. How a prisoner put into chains, enslaved by "the king of the world", may be inoculated with the thinking of an independent person? How is it possible to inculcate a slave that he is the lord of his own life? Slavish thinking and lifestyle would retain until a human would leave a home of his slavery, would leave his personal Egypt. ( John 8:34 )

          If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. ( John 8:32,36 )

          In my name shall they cast out devils. ( Маrk 16:17)

        The Spirit of the Lord ... hath anointed me to preach ... deliverance to the captives. (Luke 4:18)

           No man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) 

          If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. ( John 14:14 )

          Jesus has been sent unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (Matthew 15:24)

          If someone says that it is possible to approach God in another way - he lies. The Word of God affirms the truth, " I am the door..." (John 10:9)

          Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" ( John 14:6 )

          Sometime we hear even from believers: - Here is not Europe nor America, here is Israel. Everything is different here. Keep quiet. Why to proclaim for the whole world on who you are and by doing so to incur a lot of troubles for yourself. Your meetings will be prohibited and shot down, you will face obstacles and will be obliged to keep silence ( Matthew 10:32-33 ). You may be brought to a trial ...

            Jesus was brought to a trial. Probably, there were advisors who recommended to be quiet. - Heal, revive, teach, finally, but why to tell that you are the Son of God.

          But he is really the Son of God. And there is no place to hide from this fact. ( John 1:34, Matthew 16:16-17 )
And we are the children of God ( John 1:12-13 ). The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and the blessing for everyone among us. The fear before the satan is the beginning of insanity and the path  to death. ( Luke 11:30 ).

          Is it accepted in Israel nowadays to come to Jesus as Nicodemus did due to a fear in the face of Pharisees. Or to claim "I do not know Him?" as Peter did for the common good.

          "The complex of Peter" is alive until today on our earth. Was the rooster`s bawl well heard, when someone was answering evasively and hazily on a question on is he a christian? There are not so many roosters in the cities of Israel, may be we should not be so radical? May be the title "Sela Yeshua" (The Rock of Salvation) does not quite match? May be that title suggests an idea about Jesus and may scare them? ( Luke 9:26 ).

          God speaks in my heart: what will you do in your name if drug addicts and alcoholics will be coming for a help to you. ( John )

          May they come to me, into my home. I am the Rock of Salvation. I came to the world for their sake, for them I`ve died and was risen. I preach deliverance to the captives. ( Luke 4:18-19, John 1:17 )

          I`ve given the power and the authority to you, believers in My ( Маtthew 10:1,8 ) name, so that the Father would be praised in the Son, so that God of Israel would be praised in Jesus Christ ( Маtthew 12:2, Mark 16:17, Luke 9:1, 10:19 ). Do not hide My glory and My truth from the people. If I shall allow - who will forbid?! If I shall build - who will destroy?!

          " Sela Yeshua " ( The Rock of Salvation ) is not half-religious - half-secular rehabilitation center for drug addicts and alcoholics, but the radical union of revival.

          It is the Union between Jesus Christ and believers in His name, who are free, revived people, delivered by Him from drug and alcoholic captivity.

          Only by concluding a Covenant with God we can come out from Egypt, to see His Miracles and reach our Israel as free persons ( John 8:54 ). Not an easy way lies ahead through the desert, but do not be afraid and do not be scared. The Lord Himself will lead us, because salvation and freedom are the expressions of His will. "The Lord is the Rock of my Salvation" is written on the door-posts of a house which yet is not present in the physical world, but already erected in the spiritual one. This house is the rock in the sea of life where a human have expirienced the collapse. Clime up! Hold on to God! Only Him is indestructible pier!

          There is everything essential for the life and righteousness in this house. There is a healthy food for the famished ones, beds for the tired ones, soap and towels, hot water and everything else. However, for the material soap as well as for the house itself we shall have to pay by palpable funds.

          Beloved brothers and sisters! Present and future ones! If you saw "The Rock of Salvation" in a Spirit - it means that you are with us. You are our allies, collaborators on God`s building site. Together we shall do everything possible for invisible to occur visible. If we are confident then it will happen.

          Today is the time to sacrifice.

          We have started our preparation for the construction with the donations which we were regularly sending to a Christian rehabilitation center in Ukraine. We have started our preparation also with packages to boarding schools in CIS, with the help to needy, and, of course, with the prayer in a first place. The first donations came from USA, two bank checks from the former drug addicts: 200 and 20 US $. These money are the first bricks in our construction. Praise the Lord for you, our dear friends!

          Today we are having an open bank account and the possibility to accept the support from any country.
